Description
Matanusk Glacier from miles away. Glaciers are formed in ice fields very high in mountain ranges. The snow fall packs and becomes dense and heavy. This ice then "falls" by gravity down the mountains and into the valleys below. Because the ice is dense it does not melt as would normal ice and snow.
Glaciers have ice so dense people love it for coolers because it lasts a long time.
