This photo hung in the Midwest Museum of American Art in Elkhart, Indiana for a few weeks. It was there as a part of a juried contest. It was nice to see my work hanging in a museum, and know it was "juried into" the contest.
The picture itself is taken from the edge of our property here in Northern Indiana. On this particular day, Amish church was being held next door, so there was a lot of buggy traffic. It was foggy mornings so you can barely see the house across the road in the background.
I tried to shoot this so the trees framed the picture, this and the foreground forest floor gives some balance. While this is a color picture the silhouette look gives the feel of black and white.
