Artist's Description
We have iris along the edge of the lake. Right now the lake is overflowing so the iris are actually in the water. This image was captured after dark as the sun had just slipped over the horizon. I have no idea why the irises are on the edge of the shore, how long they have been there or who planted them there. People have been at this little lake for hundreds of years according to the information about the Native Americans who lived here, so any number of people could have put these where they are.
